The Burning Bush

The story of the Burning Bush is a source of fascination; a bush standing alone on a mountain engulfed in flame yet not consumed. The tale is about rescuing an oppressed and subjugated people, but like the branches of the bush, there are many lenses through which the piece may be contemplated.

The work was created using stained glass, wire, and glass nuggets. Walnut was chosen and milled by the artist for the frame due to its dark earthy feel and maple accents were added for contrast.
